CORRECTIONS TO COMMUNITY SUPPORT SERVICES

PSYCHOSOCIAL SUPPORT INSIDE CORRECTIONAL CENTRES & TRANSITIONING BACK INTO THE COMMUNITY

Ms Amelia De Campo is a forensic Social Worker with a Master in Health Science, specialising in alcohol and other drugs. She has expertise in motivational interviewing, case management, complex assessment and treatment planning.

Amelia has created Corrections to Community Support Services in response to enquiries from individuals seeking psychosocial support inside correctional centres, and with their transition into the community. We believe this is a unique initiative that meets a gap in the provision of support for incarcerated people.

Amelia applies her lived experience in addiction and recovery in combination with her substantial practice experience in the legal field to holistically support clients in prison. Additionally, Amelia continues to co-facilitate the Reframe Your Life addiction and recovery outpatient group program with Ingrid.
