D&M CONSULTANTS BRISBANE – A NEW THERAPEUTIC SERVICE SUPPORTING CRIMINAL & FAMILY COURT PARTICIPANTS

D&M Consulting & Counselling was created as a therapeutic service for criminal and family court clients.

Our clients are individuals who are high functioning, for example, we work with professionals, business owners and tradies. This group may not have their needs met in the public health system so we collaborate with clients and their lawyers to create the best outcomes in court and beyond.

Tailored programs based on our client’s unique story

We tailor our programs and therapy to the individual needs of each person because we recognise everyone has a unique story and we meet you where you are at; we do not take a ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach.

We create real change and positive outcomes for our clients

Here at D&M we have travelled with many clients from the beginning of a legal proceeding right through the court process and after.

We write forensic reports for people’s sentencing or family matter and make referrals to other professionals. Our reports are very helpful in demonstrating the changes a client has accomplished during their time engaging with us. This is powerful evidence for court.

We continue to witness real and sustained changes and positive outcomes for our clients.

Founded to provide case-management and therapeutic support for clients

D&M Consultants & Counselling was founded by Clinical Criminologist, Dr Ingrid McGuffog and Forensic Social Worker Ms Amelia De Campo with the aim of providing case-management and therapeutic support for clients in the community.

The evolution of D&M has created further opportunities for client engagement. Ingrid has expanded D&M to include additional services and Amelia is targeting clients in correctional facilities.
