MEET... AMELIA DE CAMPO, BSW - DIRECTOR
Amelia De Campo is a Social Worker with over 10 years clinical experience in the family law arena as Manager of LifeCare’s Children’s Supervised Contact Service. Amelia is highly regarded in the private supervised contact sector and, as a result, is frequently asked to share her experience and wisdom in the area of restoring functional family systems. She also has 8 years experience writing observational reports for family court proceedings.
Amelia’s strengths lie in the provision of personal development within a peer setting, as she believes that change is possible and strengthened within the context of the group experience. Amelia is currently completing further professional and academic development in the field of addiction.
MEET... INGRID McGUFFOG, PhD - DIRECTOR
Ingrid is a skilled educator and applied criminologist with extensive community-based research experience. She has practical experience supporting previously incarcerated people with complex needs including addiction, mental illness and trauma issues.
Since returning to Australia from the USA, Ingrid has transitioned to psychotherapy and counselling. Ingrid’s work is focused on research and collaboration in a therapeutic setting with people seeking to reframe their lives and develop emotional resilience. She is especially motivated to develop programs focused on therapeutic creative expression as a mechanism for change that is trauma-informed and strengths-based.
