THE REFRAME YOUR LIFE PROGRAM

ADDICTION IS NOT A CHOICE. RECOVERY IS.

I want to fix my life but I can’t find the way to do it.

I want to stop feeling broken, exhausted, angry, sad, overwhelmed.

I want to stop the merry-go-round of legal proceedings.

I want to stop my addiction [drugs, alcohol, gambling] as a way to cope with my life.

I want people to stop telling me I have a problem.

I want my kids back.

Trying to resolve these issues can be stressful, demoralising and disempowering. When you are facing legal charges, the potential loss of family connections or contact with your children, and possibly even your employment, it’s frightening.

Undertaking short-term fixes or changing a particular behaviour may be helpful, but it isn’t the whole solution either.

You need support at a deeper level to make changes in your life that really stick. Changes that build your emotional resilience and your self-confidence. Changes you feel proud of.

RECOVER A LIFE THAT’S ALIGNED WITH YOUR VALUES

We know that a holistic (mental, emotional and values-based) approach to addiction recovery results in positive and sustainable outcomes. That’s why REFRAME YOUR LIFE is a comprehensive, experiential program aimed at achieving long-term benefits.

We will guide you towards achieving real, meaningful change. You’ll see a shift in your reaction to life and the challenges you face along your journey.

Engaging with us is the beginning of a very personal journey and we are with our clients every step of the way – through the court process and afterwards – we work collaboratively with solicitors, forensic report writers and pathology agencies.

We are consistently achieving positive sentencing outcomes for clients who complete our Reframe Your Life program, undergo pathology testing and request a detailed report for court. Whether or not clients are compelled to seek treatment or come to us voluntarily makes no difference in outcome. What does make the difference is offering people a safe space where they can engage in self-exploration that leads to personal insight and change.

Here at D&M we have travelled with many clients from the beginning of a legal matter right through the court process and after. We write forensic reports for people’s sentencing or family matter and make referrals to other professionals. We also attend court with clients. We continue to witness real and sustained changes and positive outcomes for our clients.

The program is located at: 526 Ipswich Rd, Annerley, Queensland.
